Nicole is an artist and educator who has worked in the field of arts-education for the last 16 years. Her time within the field includes working with children from pre-k through high school, as well as teaching adults of all ages. In her current role, she teaches college level drawing classes to High School juniors and seniors. In addition, she also assists students in the creation of visual arts portfolios for college admission.

Nicole holds a  New York State Teaching Certification in Visual Arts (K-12) as well as a Masters in Science in the field of Childhood Education (Grades 1-6). She also holds Bachelors in Studio Art and AAS degree in Fine Art from CUNY Brooklyn College and SUNY Fashion Institute of Technology. Throughout her career in the classroom she has worked within various schools across the five boroughs of NYC and Long Island to bring high quality instruction in the Visual Arts. Nicole is passionate about the importance of the Arts in school as well as the integration of the Visual Arts into core subject school curriculum. This love of integration led to her work with the not-for-profit organization, LeAp (Learning Through an Expanded Arts Program). In this role, she taught various Visual Arts classes, in various schools, to students in both elementary and middle school in Queens NY. She also got the chance to work closely with teachers in these schools to integrate the arts into their planning for their core subject classes.

Nicole very much enjoys bringing art to the masses by empowering individual creative power and teaching both kids and adults alike how to draw, paint and express themselves. In this new artistic adventure, Nicole hopes to bring her experience, expertise and passion to new students by offering various classes, events and experiences to her community.
